Doggie Day Care--**COMING SOON**
Your dog will have the opportunity to play and socialize with other dogs. As a
result, your dog will be become more comfortable around other dogs. Dog-fun
activities will also help eliminate "boredom behavior" such as chewing and
barking. Complete supervision. Trips to the dog run are included. You will have
a much happier and fit dog, guaranteed! **Pick-Up/Drop-Off Services available
for an additional fee**
Cage-free Overnight Boarding
Sleepovers eliminate the separation anxieties and other concerns associated
with a traditional kennel setting. When boarding, your dog will play all day
with other dogs, get plenty of exercise, and instead of sleeping in a crate at
night as they would in other boarding facilities, your dog would be treated to
the bed, the floor, sofa, etc. wherever an owner's own dog would sleep!
However, those dogs who only find comfort in a crate will be allowed to stay in
one. Overnights include regular day care services.
Cat & Dog Sitting
Most felines do not think much of boarding kennels and often become extremely
stressed out. This can easily be avoided by leaving them at home. Our feline
care provides the love and attention that ALL felines crave, in their own
environment. Of course we don't only come in and play. We will feed, provide
fresh water, and scoop the litter box on a daily basis. We can take in your
mail, water your plants, turn on lights, etc. Dog sitting includes the same
amenities except that your dog is taken for a walk or to the park. Pet sit
visits last for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Dog Walks--**EAST VILLAGE/LES/GRAMERCY ONLY**
Unlike some dog walkers with ten dogs and tangled leashes, we do not "pack
walk". At most 2-3 dogs will be walked at once and that is usually from the
same owner or a neighbor in the bldg. or area who wants his/her dog to mingle
with a friend he/she knows.
Medication Administration
If you have an animal that requires daily or
weekly oral or injectible medications, but getting to the veterinary clinic is
less than convenient, or you just don't want to do it yourself, we provide
these services in your own home. Why put your animal through the added stress
and anxiety of getting in the car, going to a strange place, and getting all
worked up when we can come right to them and the entire process can be over in
just minutes?
Other Animals
Our services are not limited to pets with fur! We
will gladly care for your hamsters, gerbils, birds, or reptiles.
NOTE: All dogs using On The Leash's services must be approachable by staff. We
will refuse services to a dog that snaps or bites at humans for ANY reason.
